Athletics Summer Camps 2022

  

 

Want to take your child's passion for athletics to the next level? Our great Athletics camps offer children all the techniques and movements to progress their athletics development. Your child will learn skills from an array of athletics disciplines while keeping fit and having a blast.

As the majority of holiday programmes will be delivered outside, please ensure your child comes to the programme weather ready. This includes sun cream, hats, rain jackets and plenty of water.

 

Age group: Primary 1 - 16 years old

9am – 3pm All Day Session

Cost:

Full Week (Monday - Friday) - £50.00

Full Day (9am – 3pm) – £10.50

    WHAT DOES THE PROGRAMME INVOLVE (What happens during the class, what they do each week?)

    The programme is structured and planned with themed days throughout the week for participants to develop their skills and have fun! The week will include a warm up to begin with, specific drills/activities to develop skills and technique, fun games, game related practices and competitions.

    WHAT SPECIFIC SKILLS WILL THE PARTICIPANT LEARN?

    Athletics Technique- Running, Jumping, Throwing.

    Social and Motor Skills – Co-ordination, Speed, Balance, movement, agility and Confidence.

    WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE PROGRAMME?

    Learn new skills that will improve technique, meet new friends and take part in Athletics in a fun, safe environment.

    DO THEY NEED TO BRING ANY EQUIPMENT? IF SO, WHAT?

    All equipment is provided.

    WHAT SHOULD THEY WEAR?

    T-shirt, shorts, tracksuits, trainers recommended.

    Come prepared for the weather (rain jackets, tracksuit bottoms, etc.).

    ANY ADDITIONAL RELEVANT INFORMATION?

    The programme is for all abilities. If coming for the full days bring plenty of water/refillable bottle and also a packed lunch with snacks for during the day.

    Athletics Camp Daily Structure

Terms and Conditions

1. The Customer hereby agrees to ensure the child is suitably attired for the activities i.e. suitable running shoes, shorts or jogging bottoms, t-shirt.

2. The Customer will fill out a medical form / consent form prior to child participating.

3. All children must be toilet trained.

4. The Customer is aware that the other participants may have been in contact with peanuts and nuts.

5. Children must be currently in P1 – S6 to attend.

6. Children are prohibited to use mobile phones or devices during the camps.

7. All customers must provide a minimum of 1 weeks’ notice on all holiday programme bookings if you wish to cancel to receive a full refund.
