CUSTOMER NOTICE
To allow essential long term repairs to our heating systems, Aquatec will be temporarily closed while improvement works take place.
Key dates:
• 27 July 2026 - External building works begin. The gym will remain open during this phase.
• 10 August - 11 September 2026 - Internal works take place. The gym and all fitness classes will be closed throughout this period.
• From 12 September 2026 - All facilities are scheduled to reopen.
Please note that the reopening date is currently provisional. We'll keep everyone updated should there be any changes to the schedule.
We'd like to thank all our members for their patience and understanding while these essential improvements are carried out.
During the closure, single-venue members will be welcome to use Ravenscraig and Sir Matt Busby Sports Complex.

CASHLESS VENUE
Aquatec now operates a cashless reception desk and our customer service team cannot accept cash payments. Customers can pay for all of our activities and products by card or through a phone wallet. If you are making a booking with us and haven’t tried our convenient mobile app yet, you can search for Active NL on the app store or follow the link to get started.
