The course is situated in the picturesque setting of Palacerigg Country Park which is set in a mature woodland area in Cumbernauld. The course is only minutes drive from the large towns of Airdrie and Coatbridge.
The course at Palacerigg was designed in the early 1970's by the three times Open Champion, Henry Cotton (1934, 1937 and 1948). Palacerigg Golf Club was formed in 1975 and boasts a healthy membership section with regular visitors to the course on a daily basis.
Golf membership with Active NL includes both Palacerigg and Lochview courses.

Palacerigg Golf Course will be moving to cashless venue from 03/01/2026. Our reception desk and our customer service team will not be able to accept cash payments from that date. Customers can pay for all of our activities and products by card or through a phone wallet. If you are making a booking with us and haven’t tried our convenient mobile app yet, you can search for Active NL on the app store or follow the link to get started.
