CLUB ACCREDITATION

Active Schools North Lanarkshire

Welcome to the Club Accreditation hub for community sports clubs working in partnership with Active Schools North Lanarkshire.

We are committed to ensuring that all clubs delivering sessions through Active Schools provide safe, inclusive, and high-quality environments for children and young people. Our Club Accreditation process supports clubs to meet key standards in safeguarding, coaching, governance, and health & safety.

All clubs must complete the accreditation process to be eligible for partnership opportunities, including school links, Active School support, and promotion through Active Schools channels.

WHO SHOULD COMPLETE THIS?

This process is designed for local sports clubs that:

  • Deliver sessions in or alongside Active Schools
  • Want to formalise their partnership with schools and community sport
  • Are committed to child wellbeing, safe practice, and inclusive sport

We recommend club committee members (e.g. Chairperson, Safeguarding Officer, Head Coach) work together to complete the application.

If you need support or have questions about your submission, please get in touch with your local Active Schools Coordinator.

Let us help you build a stronger, safer, and more visible club!
