John Smith Pool now operates a cashless reception desk and our customer service team cannot accept cash payments. Customers can pay for all of our activities and products by card or through a phone wallet.  If you are making a booking with us and haven’t tried our convenient mobile app yet, you can search for Active NL on the app store or follow the link to get started.

John Smith Pool reopened in July 2017 after over £350,000 investment in the Swimming Pool, Gym & Health Suite!

Work up a sweat in the modern gym with a range of cardiovascular and resistance equipment and recuperate in the health suite comprising of a sauna, steam room and relaxation area.

A traditional 25-metre swimming pool is the main attraction at John Smith Pool where you can enjoy a swim 7-days a week. Last entry is one hour before closing.

John Smith Pool has a ramped entrance, automatic entry doors, a lift, disabled changing facilities and a disabled hoist to ensure every member of our community can enjoy the pool. Please contact our team if you require any assistance.
