The return of the Christmas Cracker.
North Lanarkshire Council are delighted to announce that our new festive 5k the Christmas Cracker will be taking place this year on Sunday 13th December 2025 at Broadwood Stadium and open to all participants over the age of 12.
In your registration pack you will receive your Race Number, Timing Chip, and your Festive T- shirt and Santa Hat / or Antlers which we hope you will wear during the event.
On completion particpants shall recieve, Fruit, Water, and Prized Festive Medal.
Your race pack has to be collected on the day at the registration area which will be open from 8:30am and closes 20 minutes before the race start.
We encourage participants to dress up and get into the festive spirit.
Please ensure you are there in plenty of time to get collect your pack and get to the start line.

On The Day
- Registration will open at 8.30am and close at 8.45am and the event will begin at 9am prompt.
- Registration for the event will take place within Car Park One (close to Watersports Centre) at Strathclyde Park, please note there are limited parking spaces available on site.
- Festive Tshirts will be provided as part of your entry fee and given to you at registration along with your chipped timing number.
