North Lanarkshire Half Marathon
The North Lanarkshire Half Marathon is a brand new event featuring a fresh route through Motherwell and the surrounding areas. Starting and finishing at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, the day includes a Half Marathon, a 5K race, and children’s fun races making it an event for all ages and abilities.
In addition to the races, the Family Fun Zone will be open throughout the day, featuring bouncy castles, trampolines, face painting, and a variety of "Come & Try" sports sessions. There will also be live music, entertainment, food vendors, refreshment stands, and merchandise stalls offering something for everyone to enjoy.

Road Closures and restrictions
Traffic management plans will be in operation prior to and for the duration of the event. Preparations for road closures will begin from 4am on Sunday 24 August, and will be in operation from approximately 8am until 3pm.
We are working closely with multiple agencies to minimise the disruption to residents and local businesses; however, we ask you to be prepared in advance for the restrictions.
