Cumbernauld 10k is a family community running festival based at Broadwood Stadium in Cumbernauld
The event is delivered by Active & Creative Communities in North Lanarkshire Council.
Alongside the Main 10k road race is a 3k timed run for pupils in S1 to S4.
The day also includes a children's 1k race for pupils in Primary 5 to Primary 7.
We have added a 400m Dash for Pupils in Primary 1 to Primary 4.
This year will also see the return of the Toddler dash for 3-5yrs.
Finally we are also delighted to offer a Victory Mile Walk event in partnership with our registered charity the Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland you can make donations to SBHS when you enter any of our races.
Throughout the day there will be a range of free fun activities for all the community to come along and cheer on the runners

Entry Costs
We currently have a fantastic early bird offer running where you can secure your place for only £20.
10k Run for 15 and over - chip timed event (£25 standard entry)
3k Run for S1 to S4 pupils - chip timed event (£10 standard entry)
1k Run for P5 to P7 pupils - (£7 standard entry)
400m dash for P1 to P4 pupils - (£5 standard entry)
100m toddler dash for 3-5yrs - (£5 standard entry)
Victory Mile Walk - (£5 standard entry) in partnership with our registered charity the Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland.
We are cheap, flat, fast, beginner friendly 10k event and to top it all we have a FREE FUN ACTIVITIES for all the family.
The event will run in partnership with North Lanarkshire Suicide Prevention, you can make donations to North Lanarkshire Suicide Prevention when you enter any of our races.
We are also proud to partner with Macmillan, raising awareness & funds for our partners in Macmillan Cancer Support Services in Lanarkshire”

We are looking for Volunteers for the below roles from 9am - 1pm on Sunday the 3rd of September.
-Marshalling
-Stadium Helpers
All volunteers will receive a free lunch.
